How to install
Install your eSIM in 3 simple steps. Takes about 2 minutes.
Purchase your eSIM plan
Choose a data plan, complete checkout, and receive your eSIM QR code instantly via email and on your dashboard.
Scan the QR code
Go to Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM > Scan QR Code. Point your camera at the QR code. Label the plan as "Travel" for easy identification.
Activate at your destination
When you arrive, enable your eSIM in Settings > Cellular and turn on Data Roaming. Your data connection starts automatically.
Find your device
Select your phone brand and model to check compatibility.
Manual check
Check your EID to verify eSIM support.
Open your phone dialer and type *#06#
Look for EID in the list of identifiers
If EID is shown, your phone supports eSIM
Carrier lock warning
Your phone must be carrier unlocked to use an eSIM from tukango. To check:
- iPhone:Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock
- Android:Settings → Connections → SIM card manager
